The former New York Giants baseball player William G. Martin opened this neighborhood pub in 1933. Today his grandson, Billy Martin runs the family business. Dark wood paneling and touches of hunter green make for an attractive interior. Great food and excellent service but the biggest draw is that amazing historical ambiance.
Wandering Georgetown looking for a place for dinner..ran across Martin’s...food was awesome, staff exceptional and atmosphere warm and welcoming...it Helped make my first trip to DC extra memorable
Waiter was super nice, quick attentive service. All of our dinners were excellent, nothing under/over cooked. Parking garage 1 Block away. Definitely worth a visit.
