Today I visited Mark Parkhouse’s shop In Barnstaple, what a joyful experience. I only wanted to know if my grampy’s watcchain was silver and how old it might be. Such welcoming ladies and full of information and we reminisced about times past and the shop in ilfracombe. It would have been wonderful to have bought some of their lovely opals but I came out feeling I had gained something just as valuable.
We went to Mark Parkhouse Jewellers just before Xmas after a Ruby ring , and were served by Antoinette who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We decided on a Ruby and Diamond Antique ring, exactly what my wife wanted. Mark and his Daughter were an absolute delight to deal with, and my wife was thrilled with the ring. We will definitely visit them again when we want Jewellery.
Such a quaint lovely shop, something for everyone! Don’t be fooled by the stunningly expensive looking window displays there really is a wide variety of exquisite goodies in this little tardis! The knowledge of the staff is second to none! I have had several repair jobs carried out and adjustments on some pieces of jewellery that were passed down to me from my late Mum and I’ve been more than happy with the results!
