he has operated on me on 2 different occasions and both turned out GREAT! ( one knee and one shoulder). unfortunately i hurt my other shoulder and will need him to fix me up. from the MRI it does not look good!( AT ALL) but i know he will do his best to get me back to as close to 100% as possible. i realize that some injuries are not going to be as good as new. thats life, dont expect miracles. Tried the rest, now found the best! I had gone major joint replacement surgery at “prestigious university hospital”previously. I saw Dr. Herring because I’m having pain in my right shoulder. Dr. Herring performed surgery on my left shoulder in 2015 and haven’t had any problems with it since. In 2008, Dr. Herring performed surgery on my wife’s crushed right shoulder putting pins and plates in it. She’s had no pain or problems with it since. We highly recommend Dr. Herring.

Dr. Herring is very professional and personable, listened carefully to my questions and explained fully why he recommended the shoulder replacement surgery he performed on me. I have complete trust and confidence in him. His support team is also very helpful and friendly. Overall, as surgeries go, this has been a positive experience courtesy of him and his staff.

My 15 year daughter tore her ACL through a contact injury in a field hockey game. Her growth plates were still open. Because of this, We were referred to Dr. Herring. He was calm, happy, extremely competent and confident-all the things you would want in a surgeon. It has been a true pleasure to work with him. She has worked very hard at her PT and he notices. He is positive, cheering her on all the way and provides all the guidance for success. Her knee has healed with barely any scaring. We would recommend him to anyone.
I always know that Dr. Herring will understand and take care of me to put me back in action. He's a triathlete and understands I went to get back to working out.
