We were thirsty. After hours walking along the gorgeous Pembrokeshire coast, going up and down the well-trod path, under the gentle sun and by the calm sea, we needed a drink. Luckily, we knew what lay at the end of our journey: the Mariners. This wasn’t a new place for us. Slowest service imaginable, massively overinflated food prices (£8.00 for a bowl of chips???). Mrs had a cheese pasty costing £8 which wasn't worth it. Place was closed by 9?
Charged £18 for 2 pints and 2 cans of Coke – outrageous. My mistake for not asking for a receipt on the spot, but I only realised after leaving when I saw the charge on my bank notification. It feels like they take advantage if they think you're not local. Won’t be going back.
Lovely service, good beer
Don’t put all the signs out (that say open) if you’re not open. Stood in the rain for 10 minutes before giving up No free parking, even for patrons.
