Bought a house with an Amerigas Propane Tank 8 years ago. Never signed a contact with the company they just transfered the account . I have 3 appliances in my home that use propane. A stove, a water heater and a backup boiler for heat. We have an outdoor woodstove so rarely use the boiler. Every year I have watched our bills get higher and higher. Out of propane for 4 days now, we are on autofill program. Have not had propane delivered since AUGUST! Lied to multiple times from New online call center saying they would be out, waiting here for days, no one ver showed up. No way to contact local offices now, guess we will just freeze and drive miles to inlaws to take showers until they decide to come. Will be looking for new supplier.

There aren't words to describe the incompetence of this company. Do not, do not, do NOT under any circumstances give them your service. You will spend hours of your life on the phone with them to no avail. You will be disappointed, they will not come through like they said, all of their representatives will communicate different information, and nothing will ever be resolved. Tried to get service - a tank and fuel. Every time I called I got completely different information. Truth is, I called them because my next door neighbor (my mom) had service with them. At the same time, she was trying to get a bigger tank. Every time Amerigas said they would bring a tank out - a driver showed up to fill the old one. AUTOFILL Customers beware. We had not received a delivery for 4 months, during some extremely cold weather & discovered the gauge below 5% on a Monday morning. Immediately called and did online urgent request. Three days later, the gauge read 0% (called and did more online forms), again, no delivery At that point, we had to shut off the propane heated areas, and use alternate heat to protect areas from freeze in the radiant floor. If I could give zero stars I would. Moved into our new rental home and was not told that it was going to be gas for water. We moved in on a Saturday and for the past 3 days I have been fighting with people to have someone come out and unlock the gas so we can have hot water and use the stove. I keep getting told the same speech. They have escalated my concern but they can't schedule anyone to come out and I can not have a same day appointment. While the service is unremarkable in the good way in so far as they have a delivery system that is designed to interrupt your day to day as little as possible and mostly succeeds in that aim, their payment system, refund process, and customer service are absolutely horrendous. On 12/10/2021 I filled 525.10 gallons of propane from AmeriGas Propane LP. because it offered $200 prepaid card. When I went to claim on online, the website didn't work, I tried many times, finally call back to AmeriGas customer service, she help me and get it done, I received confirmation. One and half month later, I received only $100 prepaid card. I called four times, each time spent over forty minute, no one able to give solution.
