I brought in my 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 for an appraisal. The car has 71k miles and is in sound mechanical condition with some normal dings on it. NADA Guides give a value anywhere from $23,000 down to $17,000 for a "rough" trade-in. After looking at my car for 10 minutes the sales manager gave me a quote of $9,500! I could not believe this.
