What a splendid and magical location to spend a couple of days exploring this special part of remote Scotland. The yellow Crofters Hut was very cosy and comfortable, well equipped and had splendid views. Elsie is a charming host. A very special experience so far from home, Australia.
What a magical place! Cabins are well appointed and we're comfy for three. The fire pit is really special and the beach, 5m walk away is breathtaking. Elsie and Derek were so welcoming. We LOVED it! They have plans for a wee house up the hill too....
Eine kleine, moderne Hütte mitten im Nirgendwo - ein perfekter Ort auf der Isle of Lewis. Zu Dritt war unser dreitägiger Aufenthalt in der Selbstversorger-Unterkunft etwas eng, aber schön. Die Hütte war sauber, Kochgelegenheit und -geschirr sind vorhanden, das WLAN etwas schwankend aber mit hoher Bandbreite. Die abgelegene Landschaft der Umgebung lädt zu Wanderungen und Entspannung ein. In der Nähe gibt es einen SEHR gut sortierten Supermarkt mit Wasch- und Trocknerservice, der Sonntags geschlossen hat.

Mit der beste Ort für uns auf den äußeren Hebriden. Elsie & Derek sind super nett, die Schäferhütte ist der Oberkracher, voller Freude und Liebe eingerichtet und ist super durchdacht. Die Strände sind nicht weit entfernt und mutterseelen alleine zu genießen. Only joy & love for two days ♥️
