Malaga Inn is a quaint, privately-owned boutique hotel which was originally built as a residence in the year 1862. Although it underwent several renovations before opening to the public as a hotel and a venue for hosting events, several of the historic rooms were left intact. Today, guests can choose to stay in these charming old chambers or in rooms which face the beautiful courtyard garden. Weddings and receptions can be hosted in these fairy-tale gardens or in the opulent banquet halls inside. Whether it is a business tra... read more

This hotel is quaint & the staff were very friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet even though there was a wedding taking place during our visit. We did have to ask for hand soap and extra towels and the room wasn’t spotless but the atmosphere & service more than made up for that. The location is great if you’re attending events at the civic center or the Saenger. Dauphin St dining and night life is just a few blocks away. We didn’t move our car at all during our stay. We loved our stay this past weekend. The staff were great and the room/bed was very comfortable. We weren’t sure how breakfast was going to be because so many people have said bad things about it, but we thought the breakfast was very good. Before booking you need to remember this Inn isn’t a 5 star huge hotel so it doesn’t have all of the finest furniture or amenities. If that’s what you are looking for then you might want to pick something else. But if you enjoy unique stays this is the place for you.
We stayed one night and had a lovely stay. Good location, gorgeous property!!
Enjoyed our stay in room #007. One of your employees took time out of his day to show us some of the history of the hotel. We truly enjoyed him. Will come back and stay for sure.
We enjoyed our stay. Complimentary Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage patties' cheese grits' oatmeal, sausage gravy, in addition to the normal danishes, yogurt and fruit offerred by other hotels. Great location. Easy access to highway. Great staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Safe location. Great parking. Would have given it a 5, had the room been cooler. However, warmer temperature is to be expected from an Inn built in the 1800s. Will return.
Super nice people from the moment I called to book our room. Got here, love the rooms, original wood floors, beautiful! The ladies at the desk are so sweet. The tv in our room wasn't working so she moved us upstairs to a room that the tv worked, love it. If we come back we will definately be staying here again while visiting Mobile. Did I mention the beautiful courtyard they have in the center of the inn.
Beautiful place..spend only two days here because the hurricane.. Good attention with breakfast included.
