Malaga Inn is a quaint, privately-owned boutique hotel which was originally built as a residence in the year 1862. Although it underwent several renovations before opening to the public as a hotel and a venue for hosting events, several of the historic rooms were left intact. This year was so much better than in the past!!!! Jenny at the front desk was awesome. So very helpful and sweet!!!! It's nice to see someone enjoying their job. Looking forward to next year already.
Overbooked and didn’t inform me until I arrived at the hotel.
Very rude. Front desk person was nice but the management was rude and kicked me off the property for just trying to get answers.
The Malaga In is such a delightful place to stay. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel welcome. The room was spotless, the facilities we're awesome. We were personally greeted by the owner who is such a nice guy. I highly recommend the Malaga to anyone wanting to stay close to downtown Mobile.
This is THE place to stay in Mobile! Super friendly staff, great rooms, wonderful veranda surrounding a delightful courtyard. So much history, including hidden tunnels from the Civil War days. So close to everything downtown. This place oozes with charm!
Malaga Inn will always be a special place for me and my husband Rob Brown! We spent our wedding night there almost 13 years ago! A beautiful & romantic hotel full of rich history! We went back a few years later for my birthday for a mystery dinner theater, which was so much fun! Haven’t been able to go back bc...of life. Lol! Now we have three beautiful children, and time flies by! If we do go downtown, we’ll drive by the hotel to show our kids. Would love to stay there again, especially with our children! #malagainnmemories... read more
