About this business

Malaga Inn is a quaint, privately-owned boutique hotel which was originally built as a residence in the year 1862. Although it underwent several renovations before opening to the public as a hotel and a venue for hosting events, several of the historic rooms were left intact. Today, guests can choose to stay in these charming old chambers or in rooms which face the beautiful courtyard garden. Weddings and receptions can be hosted in these fairy-tale gardens or in the opulent banquet halls inside. Whether it is a business tra... read more

We loved our first visit. Vonnie was extremely nice and very accommodating! We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard near the fountain watching the fire and then going back to our beautiful room. Love the location and the hotel. Will definitely be back!

Rhonda and I stayed there for the second time last night. We chose it as our go to place when we are seeing a concert at the very close by Saenger Theater. The first time was in January. We walked and a vinyl from the group we were seeing that night was spinning on the turntable in the lobby! Wasn't that way last night but still a very cool place to stay! Thanks again!

We stayed at the Malaga for a two weeks. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the rooms or the service. The owner even brought his grill from home and set it up for us to use after a deep sea fishing trip. This place is real, authentic southern hospitality and character from the vinyl record player in the lobby, the vaulted high ceilings, the creaking hardwood floors to the awesome, friendly, ingratiating staff. Don't stay at the big box hotels, stay at the Malaga and support a family owned landmark.
