Loved absolutely everything about this place. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beautiful. The view into the atrium with the fireplace at night and the rocking chairs on the balcony give it an extra unique touch. The breakfast included all the regular breakfast items plus cheese grits that were to die for. If you haven't been here you are missing out. I will definitely be back some day
Stayed here Friday night, absolutely loved it! From the check in process to the decor. We were in the infamous 007. The room was perfect the courtyard is by far my favorite part. Highly recommend it for a quiet romantic evening. We will be back!
We enjoyed our one night stay at Malaga Inn before a day surgery in Mobile. The price was reasonable for off season. The staff was very friendly and our historic room was great. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault it was too cold to enjoy the balcony. Two problems: the bathroom was really cold and the WiFi didn’t work. I need another surgery in Jan and made another reservation - it was $40 more and no balcony - didn’t realize there would be so much added to the reservation - the extra didn’t show up until I finished the online reser... read more

Attended the Harvell-Villarreal wedding and reception this weekend. Beautiful courtyard setting for a wedding. The areas of the hotel I explored were historic and very pretty. Easy to locate without a lot of twists and turns.
The owners was rude, treated paying customers as if they had no value.
We did some research online in the area looking for a unique, retro hotel. Malaga Inn sounded exactly like what we were looking for and we were not disappointed. Loved the staff, they were very helpful and informative on the area/attractions. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and within walking distance to food, entertainment, etc. I know where I'll be staying next time I visit Mobile.
This place is beautiful. So much charm. We had tickets to an event at the Civic Center which was at the end of their parking lot so we simply had to cross the street. Front staff was very friendly. Thw room and bathroom were both very clean.
