What used to be an old pineapple cannery is now Mala, the epitome of global organic fusion cuisine. It's not as complicated as it sounds. Chef Mark Ellman has his concepts straight: keep everything fresh, quantities adequate, use organic ingredients as much as possible and use no hydrogenated oils or preservatives. Found this cute little ocean tavern, ended up going to dinner twice during our 10 day stay in Maui . Great service, our waitress and waiter went through the entire menu describing all of the entree’s , we had such a hard time deciding they all sounded so good . It was great food and drinks, and the food was as good as they said it would be. We will defiantly come back and look forward to our next meal at MaLa Ocean Tavern 🌸🤙🌴

Best Mai Tai ever! Greek salad was fresh and delicious, high quality ingredients! Husband had the lamb pita and liked it very much. We will definitely visit again.
