This place is a joke. The VAD "team" is the biggest joke, this team is like a circus. You could not pay me to put my loved one back in this place. The nurses are rude, one actually called me and told me that I don't care about my loved one. Who do they think they are? Do yourself a favor and if you or your loved one needs or is considering a VAD, please look into Boston. They should be coming out of the hospital in better condition then they go in. I loved this place at first but, I wouldn't let them touch my goldfish.
Waiting 4 hours for a prescription to be filled. This hospital is a joke.
Horror show for the past 6 months! The ER is a joke! Absolutely NO communication between doctors! Patients and family having to chase down doctors to get things done. Doctors do not listen to the needs of their patients and the patients suffer for it. Thank God for the nurses because they are the Rock Stars there!

Top notch care by compassionate professionals . No joke , I bow down , I was skeptical but maine medical center is right up there with New York and Boston .
