My third time and loved it as much as my first! You MUST book with time on inchcolm! Tranquil, interesting and a joy to explore. Staff were all extremely helpful and online booking was easy.
A good day out. Friendly crew & efficient office staff. Interesting commentary and very comfy boat. We "did" the island and enjoyed the abbey and military installments.

Amazing story behind this bridge. There are no welds. The bridge only used rivets and bolts.
As an Edinburgh resident I can't believe I left it so long to visit Inchcolm Island. Absolutely recommend, ideally outside seabird breeding season. Maid of the Forth is a comfortable boat that's perfect for the journey and the staff on and off shore were excellent.
