We stayed at Izzyk Hall Hotel for our mini-moon and it was absolutely amazing! Everything about our stay was perfect — the hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and so thoughtfully run. The view is absolutely insane — waking up to it every morning felt magical. The breakfast was honestly the most delicious I’ve ever had — fresh and beautifully served every day. We have eaten here for at least 25 years and always rated it as 5 star. We often eat at lunch time on a fixed menu (several choices available). A new owner has taken over and now offers only à la carte courses which raises the price of a lunch considerably. No bread rolls now included and the main courses are on the small side so you will probably need 3 courses. I rate the actual lunch at 2 star but overall have given 3 stars to reflect the lovely situation and fine views. We are unlikely to return unless things improve.

Had sunday lunch with friends celebrating their ruby wedding. The setting was lovely the views were superb, one of the best restaurant vistas in the lakes. And the food and service matched. Beautifully presented perfectly cooked sunday lunch brought out by a very attentive team. An excellent experience all round
