We visited the Isle of Wight for a family funeral and stayed 2 nights, 4 of us in two rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean, and well appointed. We were in room 23 which had a great bathroom with a bath, my sister was in 26 with a bigger room but smaller bathroom with a shower, no bath. The breakfasts were fantastic - good choice, freshly cooked, quickly served. Eggs Royale was good, the full English breakfast was smashing. Well what can I say? Perfect for us and our dogs. The hotel should be a 4 star not a 3 star. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with squirrels running and chirping about. The bedroom is clean, warm and tea table is very welcome. The breakfast the hotel serves is so beautifully arranged , and so much of it, that I actually skipped lunch. I gave the review 4 stars not 5, simply because I was observing two waitresses , There was a blonde waitress who couldnt do enough for people and her smile was huge, the other waitress ... read more
