I cannot understand how this person gives such a low rating without making any comments. This work was finished and approved by the County.
He knew he was coming to certify if a wall was load bearing or not but wouldn't go far enough into the attic to look at the truss structure. I even cut a hole in the ceiling at his suggestion and he still couldn't tell me if it was load bearing or not. Total waste of time and money. He might be able to do good work if he can stand on the ground.

This was the concluding statement written to Jeff D. Based on our education, licensing, experience and evaluation we find that the wall can be removed. The wall appears to be non-load bearing. Yet, the views were restricted and to be 100% sure a much larger ceiling opening needs to be made to check further. Also, a reinforcement bracket will need to be added at the lower chord and over the metal mending plate. This will serve a further reinforcement of that lower joint point.
