This is what my phone log has looked like for a month thanks to this place. Hours upon hours spent trying to fix completely unnecessary issues that could have been solved with employees having very simply product knowledge and care for the customer. Save yourself a headache, and public belittling from authority figures in the store, go somewhere else.
I went into Lowe’s this afternoon to buy a dryer. The young man working in appliances asked me what it was doing and how long I had owned it. I told him I have had the dryer for 8-10 years and I was having to run through 3-4 cycles to get clothes dry. I said I didn’t think it was the heating element because it felt warm. He then told me it sounded like an issue with the vent, not the dryer. He showed me the kit I needed to buy to clean it out before buying a dryer unnecessarily ($12). On July 2, I went in and bought a new dryer. I was NOT told that I had to buy a new plug and dryer in order to have it installed. I even asked the lady about if they take the old one away and was informed that they will haul it away for $20.00. How am I supposed to ask for something I didn't even know!?!?!? Terrible customer service!! We ordered our cabinets from lowes. We have had NOTHING but problems since! They miss measured, didn't send paperwork to installers till we called twice. Today when called about our missing cabinets. The assistant manager took the call. When ask who I was speaking with he said "you called me so you tell me who this is"!! What in the world!? And this is an assistant store manager! Wow! I can't believe after spending so much money to be treated so poorly!
We ordered GE refrigerator from Lowe’s on mine on the 11th and was given a delivery date from the Goose creek store for June 13. We called yesterday to confirm the appointment time and that they had the fridge in stock and was told that the fridge was there and ready to be delivered and would go out on the 13th. Today is now the 13th and they’re calling and saying they don’t have our fridge and it’s not in stock in the district center and will have to wait an unknown amount of time to get a refrigerator. Typical big business. Ordered new mower, was going to cut grass today. Bought it in the store last Friday and couldn't get it delivered till Monday. Friday was first day had time to ensure gas, oil, and battery ready to go. Oh, flat tire, go figure. Put air in the tire and found it has a huge leak, can hear it and find it easily. Delivered BROKE. Do not have house siding done by Lowes! We bought and ordered it in October 2017. It was supposed to be put on the house starting November 8th. Then we are pushed back to December 26th because they were too busy! The contractors started on December 30th and told us they didn’t have all the supplies. We then had cold temperatures for a week and they didn’t work because it was too cold to cut the siding. They came back yesterday and couldn’t do much because of the missing supplies.
