I spent close to 2000 on a washer and dryer to be delivered and installed I gave the person who sold me the washer and dryer my name address and phone number it was also supposed to be delivered and installed today the 3rd person delivery service jb hunt refused to deliver and the drivers wouldn't even listen to me lowes had the order under the wrong name to begin with jb hunt drivers were mean nasty and rude when I went into lowes to reschedule delivery the people at the customer service desk were nice however the delivery ... read more

I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic, and I understand that some materials are in short supply. But I signed a contract to replace a 60’ section of board fence (with vinyl) in April and it was just now installed. A 1-day job required 3 days—actually, 4 days if you count the day that nobody showed up on the day that it was scheduled. Do not contract work through this store! We are long-time Lowes customers and have always had great experiences, until a recent window purchase. We purchased Pella windows through Lowes and contracted with them for installation. We ordered the windows on March 17th, with a contracted completion date of April 30. We understand there were delays in manufacturing due to Covid-19, so we were not terribly upset with the May 18 installation date. Lowe’s in Bloomington went to self checkouts only. From now on I will only shop here if I absolutely have to. I like Menards better anyway. Get rid of the self check registers!
