Waited to long to get my dishwasher up front 25 minutes
Only getting two stars because I have done some projects with no issues. However, if you have an issue expect to have to defend yourself and only be able to tell part of your story.
Had stone delivered today and the truck driver was fantastic!! Very polite, called ahead of arriving so my dad could meet at the house, put it exactly where we wanted even though that meant extra work for him, etc. I didn't catch his name but wished I would've because he deserves recognition. Great customer experience for us!!
Never had a problem with in store items, but ordering is a crap shoot. You have a 50/50 chance of things going smoothly. Have had special order things be sent to the store and then sold as inventory. Been told order would arrive in 10 days and takes 30. Have had wrong materials delivered to job site. Have taken time of work to wait for morning delivery of a refrigerator only to be called at 4 in the afternoon and told the driver was over hours and couldn't be delivered that day. This is the worst place to buy and return things... I'm so pissed I hope no one ever comes back to this place. Should of just went to menards!!! Mangers wouldn't help I just can't believe the shitty customer service
I don't normally rant about local businesses without a fair shot to resolve issues. I bought a nice refrigerator in December. They damaged 3 areas in my house during delivery. Nothing major. They took photos and promised to call be back to fix it. I've spoken with 4 different people each who promised to call me back with options. I've even offered to apply whatever reasonable amount they offer toward the purchase of another expensive home improvement item. Over 6 weeks now. No call back.
Usually I like Lowe's. Unfortunately my sister & I just bought a patio set from them maybe a month ago. There is a light breeze in Ames, IA today. My sister and I had grilled out and had left our umbrella open while we were putting leftovers in the fridge. We were inside for maybe 10 minutes when we heard a loud crashing sound. The umbrella had moved and SHATTERED the glass table. Unbelievable. I am so angry. We are college students and were looking for something affordable.
