Unbelievably calming and wonderful stay. We have visited here many years and Jill always gives us a warm welcome. With superb accommodation, equipped with everything you need for self-catering with a family, and the pool, there is everything you need for a truly relaxing break.
Stayed for a week on the small caravan site which is a caravan and motorhome members only. It has a toilet and shower thats cleaned twice daily and is spotless. There are several holiday cottages which Jill the owner and her team work their socks off to keep everything immaculate. Beautifully kept grounds. Motorhomers note that you need to either be prepared to go out in your van, have bikes, tow a car or get a taxi as its a bit out of the way. Hence beautifully tranquil. Especially out of school holiday times.
Campsite is very well kept, small field on a farm adjacent to a series of holiday cottages. Follow the signs for the cottages, narrow but accessible road. Follow the road round the back to the pitches. No signage or reception. Single shared toilet and shower - very clean and modern Drinking water tap - very short hose Toilet waste point Grey water goes into toilet waste point, no drive over Swimming pool - you need to book a slot. Fantastic place immaculately presented. Superb facilities & the most beautiful swimming pool. Along with the hardest working owner I've ever encountered.
We didn't go in the cottages we went on the touring park CL with our campervan. The cottages looked fabulous. The swimming pool is fantastic 👌
