A bit in the middle of nowhere but if you want peace and quiet, near-zero light pollution and lots of walking routes on your doorstep, then this property is for you. Unfortunately the property lost stars due to many small issues which could have easily been fixed e.g. a broken cafetiere (instant coffee just doesn’t cut it), some of the food items left by the owner were either out-of-date or inedible because they’d been left in the sun; the front door wouldn’t lock; unsecured wifi; so many flies in the house, and dead insects... read more
Had a 4 day break modern clean well presented remote location peaceful and tranquil highly recommended
A weekend retreat in Suffok for us that looked smart, tidy and conformable. It has quite a plain outlook, and the surrounding area is mainly grass and fencing. It has a nice quiet location. The barn was let down by its cleanliness - two of the previous three residents had brought dogs. Consequently, we found dog hairs on most soft furnishings. Fantastic place
Had a long weekend away with two horses and a dog. The holiday barn was spotless and had everything you needed. Lovely garden that was fenced all around so perfect for dogs and children. Stables were perfect for the horses with a lovely ménage to use if we wanted. Lots of fields and bridleways to follow and the roads were quiet everywhere, perfect to practice road work. Plenty of footpaths with lots of signs.
