Barbecue at its best. Excellent bark on the brisket which is always a perfect mix of moistness and flavor. These guys know what they're doing. Finest barbecue in central Texas.

Louie Mueller is my go-to place for BBQ. I've brought friends from across the country and globe. Comments like, "this is the best beef (rib) I've ever had" to "had I known Texas BBQ could be like this, I would have a whole different opinion" (from an Alabama/Georgia transplant). For me, the beef rib is the best I've ever had - huge, perfect, and great in migas the next day if you don't eat it all! Do yourself a favor and trip over to Taylor and enjoy a authentic and fantastic meal!!

Food was alright....Too pricey to really want to go back. Sauce seemed too liquidy and watered down.

The BBQ is fabulous! I think would recommend trying a little bit of everything while you're here or trying something new each time you visit....

I don't get to Taylor very often but when I do, a stop at Mueller's is required! Last two visits I had the pulled pork sliders. In a word: awesome! Very friendly folks too, and that first free bite of brisket is always amazing. Next time I'm going to take a pound home, just because.
