We stayed as a joint 70th and wedding anniversary treat. What a lovely spot and such lovely staff. I had the best massage by Tatiana and we then enjoyed a delicious dinner with drinks in the comfy lounge to start and end our meal. A great night's sleep in a wonderfully huge bed and then a Derbyshire breakfast in the dining room with the most amazing views. It's a little off the beaten track but worth the journey.

We booked 6 nights, but stayed for 5 - couldn’t handle the sewage smell and sound isolation issues (= bad sleep) any longer. Pros: - location - very convenient for accessing anything in Peak District (given you have a car). Lose Hill is literally at the door steps and hike is cool and views are amazing! - staff was friendly Cons: - sound isolation is very poor.
