What a wonderfully run and managed hotel in Porlock. The dinner in the evening (as well as the breakfast in the morning) was superbly prepared and cooked and the service was exceptional. Their attention to detail in making us feel welcome was most impressive.
A lovely meal, good service, in a quiet atmosphere
Stopped here with friends on a multi day hike. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely and there was an option for a hikers packed lunch which we took up. Such a great little hotel.
Dined here on Saturday. We struggled to choose between the options on the menu simply because every one looked so appetising. We ended up with a generous piece of beef 🥩, with super fresh vegetables 🥒 and lamb ragu pasta after tasty starters. Pudding was awesome too. A bottle of Sangiovese accompanied these perfectly. Great restaurant, run by charming people who know how to ensure their guests have an enjoyable evening 😁
