Located along the Lockport section of the Erie Canal, this amazing underground boat ride is unique. Using a custom-built flat-bottom boat, visitors go on a half-mile trip through a man-made hydraulic raceway cut out of solid rock, the work of 19th-century genius Birdsill Holly— the man who gave the world the fire hydrant and zoned steam heat. Accompanied by a guide and trained operators, the 1 1/4-hour ride is thrilling and perfectly safe.

On September 22 I waited with five other people, two of whom had purchased tickets online, until 20 minutes after the scheduled tour start time. We all left when no one showed up to conduct the tour. I contacted them and received no response.
In regards to the Haunted Cave Tour: What a huge disappointment. Over $30 per person, we were expecting a “haunted” Halloween experience. Literally walked to and then through the cave, not one scary moment at all, nothing staged for the event, kept waiting for something to happen, but NOTHING. My family had a wonderful time here on Monday. We had a wonderful tour guide named Kyle I believe. She was an amazing and funny person. Would definitely recommend this place but I wish I would live closer so we could c it during Halloween. We visited from Indiana but we were on vacation first in Niagara Falls for a couple days and found this online and glad we did. We then ventured off to Hershey Park for a couple days. Thanks again for the wonderful time
Brody was an excellent tour guide! He is very knowledgeable of the history of the canal locks and industry powered by the races. Ask him a lot of questions. He’ll provide answers!! And compliments to John!
the whole tour was hood...learn a little history and see things you probably never saw before
I went last week for the haunted walk through the caves with 3 friends. Our mini group was added to a large group .Our guide was Adam and he was very informative and I learned some new things even after living in the area my whole life. The effects were nice going into the cave the fog made it extra creepy, candles lit the path. the music playing could have been better to set the mood rather than typical halloween sounds that didn't really match what the experience was.
