I stayed at Loch Ness Countryside Hotel for two nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience after my departure. I accidentally left some clothes in the wardrobe of my room and contacted the hotel by phone later that afternoon, followed by an email the same evening. I was assured that housekeeping would check and that I would be called back. No one ever called. **DO NOT BOOK THE COTTAGE** Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the very friendly staff who asked us about our trip and showed us some very great spots in Inverness. This was great. Then we were shown to the cottages. We were very disappointed by these. There are two of them and we were given cottage 2. It turns out they only market there cottage number 1 on booking and their website as this is the pretty and cosy one. We went to ask for an explanation and they said they could do nothing for us.
