We had a great experience here, first time kayaking as a family. It's a great beginners place, and the staff are really helpful. They even came out half way through our time on the water, to check we were all okay and that we were enjoying the paddle.
In mid-June I booked a private 3 hour canoeing tour for my son’s 10th birthday in mid-August - £300. They emailed me less than 24 hours before, to say they were short staffed and were therefore cancelling. No offer to reschedule, and a mere perfunctory apology. This has left me with very little time to try and organise an alternative. I had emailed them twice earlier in the week and had no response. Their communication is dreadful. What a fabulous experience at Loch Ard Adventure Centre for Our Grandson ! We can't thank James & the team ( especially Niall) enough . We were made to feel so welcomed from start to finish . Niall took Our Grandson on a Paddle & Plunge adventure, while James took my Wife and I out in a motor boat to watch them jumping from a cliff . We had an incredible experience with instructor James! My teen daughter, her friend, and I went kayaking and cliff jumping, and it was truly unforgettable. James was superbly patient, encouraging, and personable, which made the whole day both exhilarating and fun. It’s clear that James is highly experienced in water-based activities. He even wowed us with his aerobatic skills, showing off some amazing tricks as he leapt into the stunningly beautiful Loch Ard.
