From reading the Loandepot reviews you will see that your experience will either be horrible or wonderful. I think the difference depends on which individuals you will be working with at Loandepot. I was seeking to refinance my home. After speaking with the Senior Account Manager at Loan Depot my loan was approved and sent to underwriting, they then requested an appraisal. I scheduled the appraisal and was charged for it, the home was appraised and we were asked to fix a couple of things, this was all fine. I received a phone call a few days later informing me that my loan would not be approved due to my debt to income ratio. They had all of this info before the appraisal. Beginning with my initial conversation(s) with Yousuf, through to my closing conversations with Christine, Loan Depot was professional, reassuring, explanative, and thorough, which ended up being the key in getting my refi done fairly quickly to a great rate with a solid loan that allowed us to capitalize on some equity to pay off student loans and other debt. I found LoanDepot to be very professional and helpful with me refinancing my home A loan officer by the name of Kevin Phan was the best. I would call and leave a message and he would respond with in that day. I well say this they are much better then Quicken Loans and how your staff handles their clients.
