This is our second loan with Loan Depot and we would do it again without a doubt! Great customer service and knowledgeable loan officers made our process a breeze.

I recently did a refi and the service was great. But then after six months they must have sold my loan. Why I don't know, always paid on time. So why??? I am furious because I went to pay and couldn't, now the payment will be late. Very, very disappoint with LoanDepot.

1st. complaint, I checked into refinancing was told I qualified, went through all the all the steps, told we'd close in 2 weeks, well after 2 mos. of my loan sitting in underwriting, they came up with a bunch of crap I needed to show letters, all kinds of crap, I tried to call customer service was given a major run around, never heard back from anyone in management that I was promised a call back from. Negative experience: The just called to get a quote. The loan officer talked for what seemed like 30 minutes selling his company. Got really angry and hang up on me when I refused to provide SS# and DOB. He said he is not going to loose his job for me.

We applied for a condo loan with loan depot per lending tree We had 100000 dollar plus income With 900 dollar total debt they said we can do this in 20 day express after 4 weeks they turn us down not due to us but condo after they waited to end to get questionare they tell us can not do we are closing with a local company now these guys cost us closet to 2000 dollars before they came up with this be ware they can only do easy loans and I hope you have less the. 27 percent ratio to income to get your loan .. they Suck

Nothing but a positive experience in dealing with the rep through the process. I found that the closing costs for my mortgage was significantly higher with LoanDepot than with my local credit union. I thanked the rep and informed him that I would not be closing the loan with LoanDepot and we parted amicably. The negitive part of the experience is that LoanDepot sold my information to spam emailers. I now receive daily emails informing me of better rates. These emails include my Name, and home Address. My husband and I have been trying to refinance our 30 year FHA mortgage for several months before we talked to Loandepot and they listened. We talked to every possible lender before we made our decision but this company gave us the best deal, treated us with respect and the communication was excellent. They are resourceful, fast, knowledgeable, and efficient I am extremely satisfied with Loandepot and very thankful for their hard work, great customer service and innovative approach to lending.

loandepot.com acts almost like a scam. My mom requested some information about a refinance, agreed to the appraisal, but stopped everything verbally on the phone after that. She wasn't comfortable with their ability to save her any money - literally a $20/month savings when other lenders could do better. Next thing she knew, loandepot had sent papers to her homeowners insurance with a digital signature through docusign that WAS NOT legitimate because the papers had never been sent to my mom.
