The realtor who sold me my first house in 2015 recommended Adam W***** for the preapproval process and Loan Depot has been serving all of my home loan needs since then. I have never had ANY problems with this company or its agents. I've since refinanced my home twice, most recent being a week ago where I enjoyed another smooth, efficient, effortless process. Avoid this company at all costs. There is NO communication within the company or with the customer. Getting them to check off boxes is like pulling teeth. They cancelled my appraisal and didn't care to let me know. I found out from closing attorney documents weren't ready as I was driving to the closing Loan Depot scheduled themselves. To top it off, they didn't pay the homeowners insurance policy so my policy was cancelled without warning. Now they are saying it was my responsibility. My dealings with LoanDepot was by far the most frustrating experience I’ve had with a Loan company, In fact, I wouldn’t recommend them to finance a lemonade stand. The Loan Office we dealt with was asleep at the wheel throughout the entire process. Early on he delayed the process by repeatedly asking for different cuts of the same information. The Loan Depot team was not acceptable and was terrible at communicating with me. They would not call me back or answer my questions. Multiple numbers led me to believe that they were not competent in their handling of my loan application. The initial process was good an Morgan was the only one who would take my call or call me back. They drug the process out too long which in turn cost me money. People do not call back after loan closed to answer my questions or put on hold? and did not call back during loan still waiting on over payment loan Depot Owes ME OUT OF 6 PEOPLE ONLY ONE HAD THE ANSWERS TO MY Questions After 2 HRS OF CALLING BACK TIME AFTER TIME ITS LIKE I WAS ON THE SPACE STATION BUT I DID NOT GIVE UP ON CALLING. Loan Depot is an outstanding loan company, quick at the processing,great staff to work with,worked many late evening to get the paperwork that was needed and always received a polight answer and help with any and all questions,above and beyond any other loan officer, definitely will be using them again,and refer to everyone I know that is about to purchase a home.thanks
