A life saver! We originally were using BoA but they kept delaying, causing the sellers to get antsy. Seema from loan depot was very responsive and very on top of things, texting me daily to get me updates. We had switched to her less than a week before the original closing date and originally thought that we would have to push closing by a couple of weeks. TL;DR - Do NOT use them. Loan Depot refused to pay the market rate for our appraisal causing delays and a missed closing date, which cost my family an additional $1,200 out of pocket. Loan was ready for appraisal on 10/21 w/ an expected close date of 11/18. Somehow that wasn't enough time for them to get an appraisal report back to close on time. Because of that, we had to pay $1,200 in additional rental costs rather than be homeless (with our 2 young children and cat) in a state we were new to. Was told (on a recorded line)... read more
If you are looking for a professional and timely provider for your next endeavor in life, do NOT use this company. Absolute worst experience of my life. Over promised to **** you into agreeing to use them and then completely under deliver leaving you to lose out on money that was "promised" back. I applied for a home loan with LoanDepo and the points and fee charges they sent me did not show any point charges. My loan officer was Will ******* and they took much longer time as they estimated to me first. I had to contact the managers and supervisors many times which was very time consuming for me. After I finally got the loan approval I noticed that they are going to charge me points for this loan! Also, I did not even do any cash out or any changes.
