I have to say that working with loanDepot was by far the best experience we have ever had. The 1st contact was a woman who took our info and then passed us to the lending officer who reviewed our application and told us what they could do for us...he then set the terms and sent the welcome pkge. It was disappointing experience. The processing was super slow and manual. The processing agent was confused most of the times and the documentation system was pretty ad hoc and manual. If given option I would choose a competitor vs loandepot any day. Just take a quote and go to some place better
My dealings with Loandepot mortgage process was extremely stressful and their entire process needs work. My settlement needed to be pushed due to their lack of urgency. Communication was slow to respond to my follow up emails. Request for documents came in 1 at a time instead of a complete list of needed documents. The requests would come days apart and multiple times a day when they did come.
