The worst. They should be shut down. They buy out your loan and will continue to make money off of you in any way they can with late fees and usability issues.
I write this to warn others to not get a loan through this company or TIAA. Especially a loan with a variable side. An elderly person will NEVER be able to pay it off as their system is designed to make it as complicated as possible. You cannot make payments for variable loans online, you have to call. They will NEVER apply it correctly. You will have to call minimum 3 times to get it corrected. I had to keep an excel sheet to follow the process of every payment I have made. Wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE 5 stars. I have been dealing with issues with them since November of 2022. I've called weeks on in & every time I'm told it will be 3-5 business days before you hear something. Well here it is April of 2023 & I have yet to hear anything!! This company is the worst mortgage company ever. They have said I owe $2500 dollars to escrow which I in fact i do not. It was something they screwed up on their end, & lost paperwork that they had. Zero stars if I could. I wouldn't suggest this mortgage servicing company if you have any say over the matter. Very, very poor operations which cannot seem to do loan administration on time...EVER! Year after year, I have to chase them down to verify that homeowners and flood insurance have actually been sent to them from my insurance company and then they don't even pay out of escrow on time.
Can I give less than one star. This company is the most corrupt and uncooperative company on the planet. Found out the mortgage they are trying to collect on my mothers home was already bought out and they are still trying to collect. They are thieves and they are disgusting. Hello: My loan unfortunately was transferred to these morons a month ago. It was right when my homeowners insurance payment was due. After three different people giving me three different email addresses, I got an official address to send the bill and new homeowners policy. Fast forward to now, beginning of April. I received a note from Loancare stating they were buying homeowners insurance for me at a rate likely much higher than what I'd get on my own since they had no record of homeowners insurance on my policy. Not even 1 star! 0 stars, definitely would never recommend! They waited 4 months to send me a billing statement for my new loan payment and now they expect me to pay everything at once! They also expected me to know what the additional fees and taxes were that were added on to my mortgage payment. Not one time did they send a statement or gave a call and not to mention, when i tried to look it up online, all my old information was still up there and it didn’t get updated until March 10th! LoanCare is awful. I sent them an updated master condo policy which included wind coverage when the policy began. I was sent a letter weeks later indicating that I had no updated policy. I followed their instructions from the letter and sent it again on March 1. Two weeks later, it still was not updated. I called and spoke to a representative and he said he saw where I sent an updated policy, but for some reason, it was not processed. I uploaded it again after speaking to him on March 15. Worst experience ever with any organization. For the past few months I had call to find out why they are not pulling the funds out of our account weeks after I made the payments and received confirmation. They messed up and have the audacity to demand certified funds for future payments. Horrible customer service!
