I didn't think any loan servicing company could be more inept at servicing my loan than Ditech was, but here ya go. There should be a law against moving our loans around to these idiots who misappropriate funds and try to charge you fees.
The Customer Service Reps are not trained to answer in-depth questions about your loan account - such as how interest is being calculated, re-financing options, rates, or taxes. Last year, my taxes went up on my house and no one in customer svc could explain why - they explained the process for submitting a ticket to another team and I would need to wait 3-5 business days to receive an email response from "this other team" that customers cannot talk directly to. Our loan was sold to loan care, we were told we had 60 days to make the payment since we just bought our house and were first time home buyers, we never received any paperwork from them with payment info after the 60 days we called them to make a payment, they refused our payments until we could come up with the full amount! If your loan is sold to LoanCare - refinance! This is the most abysmal customer service on the planet. After my husband's death, I refinanced our mortgage in my name only. The refund check for a slight overpayment (per title company calculations) was issued in both my husband's and my names, which is unacceptable to the bank. My loan was just transferred by Ditechmtg. I was advised I had legally a 60 day grace period. Ditech tried to screw me out of my 60 days. They returned my payment. So loan calls me . I tell them I sent it to ditech. They were trying to explain some long story which didn't add up. Bottom line they were trying to get me to pay the amount plus my funds in suspense before I knew what happened to funds. I hope these horror stories are not true. Zero stars! Everyone seems to say something different. No one knows anything about my account nor does anyone want to take action for not knowing anything! Wish they would just sell my account to another lender!
My loan has been transferred from DiTech to this clearly low budget company. They sent me a letter stating I could register online to make my payment but didn't include an account number making it impossible to sign up. I've been on hold now over an hour trying to get my account number. If anything negative is reported to the credit bureau I will be filing claims with the BBB and contacting my attorney. I'm a C level executive and do not have time for this incompetence.
My load was transferred to loan care and new account numbers were created, but Loan Care never provided the account number. I cannot make any payments without knowing the account numbers. I have spent three hours on hold waiting for their pathetic customer service. As of now, I still do not know my account number and the payments are due. Extremely upset with both Loan care and my bank that sold them my loan. If you have an option, I would avoid dealing with this company.
My account was just transfed to Loancare from Ditech. I get a letter that says that I can register my account and pay my mortgage on 4/8/2019. I tried and it simply cannopt find my account!!!!!! I called 4 differnt telephone numbers listed for Loancare and the phone rings a couple of times and then silence!!! How can I pay my mortgage when I have no way of contacting the company to get my account number? This is ridicules!!! I never had so much trouble PAYING MY MORTGAGE!!!!
