On hold with LoanCare right now...said we missed May payment. Sent bank records to show payments (three times); still no resolution!! Please note, we have been dealing with this since September when we received notice that we missed May payment (4 months later). After numerous calls, no call backs, I am on hold once again! How can a company with 905 negative review in less than 3 years, still be allowed to operate, even Virginia Beach pulled their license due to fraud, I'm now losing my home because of their incompetencies, and getting a lawyer.
I have had two major issues with LoanCare in the last two months. They are the current servicer for my loan and customer service is between too busy to help and just plain ignorant of loan regulations. My first issue was with a lost payment. I made the payment and they claimed to never have received it. After talking to three people over two weeks and finally demanding to speak to a manager I was able to prove payment and clear their faults. Second issue was with a request to drop PMI. Terrible experience...I’m 52..this is my 4th mortgage over my lifetime and have never had any problems till now. Shame on Quicken Loans for selling my loan to such a poorly run outfit. Debited for my mortgage twice after LoanCare not being able to get the auto draft correct then act like it’s my fault...seriously?? They then say “I” have to prove it with my bank statement, get a ticket number then wait 10 days to be credited. Total bull crap...Time to refi and get out from under this 2bit company. Only gave 1 star because that's as low as I can go. Loan Care bought out our Mortgage from our original lender in July of 2019. I received a letter in June of 2019 from our original lender telling us that we will be paying the new mortgage company and wait for a bill in the mail from them as it will contain all account information. Come July 22nd, never received anything from the new company and had to call the old lender to find out who the new mortgage company was. They are the worst! all good until they bought my loan
Seriously incompetent. I made 2 payments for "Principal only" 1 directly from my bank, the memo on check says "Principal only" the money is still in limbo on my account. 2 I made another payment over the phone with them for $1000 for Principal only. they took $200 for interest. I called 3 times to get this fixed, this has been going on for 2 months nearly. They tell me they fixed it, yet it is still not fixed in my account. Their website is really slow. And they charge the most fees I have seen anywhere. Very BAD, Stay away
