my warranty company purchased a engine thru lkq it went out in two weeks it took them a week to call shop to see what happen they sent another engine out of car crash car it took two weeks after the car was finish for them to pay part of bill which in all and all they should have paid everything since they sent a defected engine only wanted to pay for 10 days of rental car even thought it took them longer on their end to get everything squared away very disappoint in company i have to file bankruptcy behind them

bought an engine from them , had to have it replaced after only 45000 miles . They made my shop and I jump thru hoops and waste more money to get another motor under warranty and now that motor is needing to be replaced with less than 5000 miles on it. I will tell everyone that I know to not buy anything from this company, ever!

I work for an auto parts store and we also mix automotive paint. Ordered parts for a customer from Keystone and was told they were in stock and would be delivered Monday. Tuesday when the parts had still not arrived I called to see what the issue was and I was told my order was still in the system as a quote and that is why they didn't get delivered and I would get a call back when they had it resolved. I never received a call back that day. Called again Wednesday to check on the status as the part had still not arrived yet ... read more

Buyers beware! Do not waste your time or money with this company. I purchased an engine from them. After installation we discovered an antifreeze leak. The head ended up being warped and they asked us to send a picture of this piece that would melt if you drove it. They installed this piece themselves to avoid covering a warranty. Well, since it was melted they would not give us another engine after they sold us a bad one!! Once they received the picture they would not return our calls. I purchased skid plate marked for a 2012-2018 **** Focus through *************. The manufacturer was ******** LKQ. The part does not fit on my 2016 **** Focus despite the manufacturer claim that it would fit. When I attempted to return the part to *********, the shipping cost was much more than I paid for the part and the shipping. I contacted this location (being the company that manufactured the part) and they gave me excuses on why it didn't fit. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Sold us bad parts, hassled us on the warranty, gave us incorrect pieces, was hung up on by 'customer service'. We spent almost as much overall as we would have if we had just had the repair done at a shop, due to LKQ selling us faulty parts. I have no idea how this company got to be so big with their shady business practices and horrendous customer service.

This company is pure garbage, I placed an order and then cancelled it, they asked me to please allow to 5-7 business days to receive my money, on the 7th day I still had not received my money so I called to see what was going on and apparently their system had a glitch and they had to reissue the refund on the 7th day and asked me to again wait another week to get my money back, the customer service is rude and disrespectful and when you ask to speak to a manager there is never one around but they will gladly take your infor... read more

I don't think I've ever had to give one star rating for anyone. But I figure I'd have to share my experience to save someone else the trouble. I love the concept of being able to go to one place and they pull the part you're looking for from any of their sister stores. -for starters I was not impressed with the hours of operation. With a 9 to 5 Monday through Friday operation most people work during those hours. so you would have to take off work to be able to get your part if you are normal daily working person. - had signi... read more

I wanted to take a moment to thank the team here’s in lkq north ave Chicago Specially Sam, Glen and Marco and every one else that works at this location even I don’t know the names , I shop at lkq on almost daily basis , I visited all four location in Illinois , and one in Milwaukee and one in fortewyne This was the best location and best customer service.
