Never stayed in the rooms but I have attended multiple events here and in all cases staff have gone above and beyond to make them enjoyable, memorable occasions so it is definitely worth considering as a venue if you're planning a large event or party. Logistically a big advantage is it's location only a short walk from the town centre combined with its own car park which is free for those visiting the hotel.
Zimmerausstattung ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt. Frühstück war ok, aber geringe Auswahl. Die Veranstaltung im Garten sah gemütlich aus.
Evening meal was great - really good fish & chips, done well. Breakfast was foul - don't bother! Microwaved sausages - say no more. Dated decor throughout, but my room was quite nice, bathroom decent and, (listen up Premier Inn) windows that open, and a toilet brush - and decent WiFi. It's the little things. Staff were ok, if a little gruff Good parking space, watch the speed humps - savage gradients - and excellent location.
