I visited this hotel with friends for an overnight getaway and was simply blown away by the venue. We were greeted on our arrival by uber friendly reception staff who explained everything about the hotel. We then went to our room on the 2nd floor which had dual aspect windows affording us views of Lake Windermere. Simply stunning. The room was spacious and well equipped and nicely furnished. We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The main rooms downstairs are beautifully decorated and furnished and the gardens are gorgeous. We were very lucky to have lovely weather and it was great to sit outside with a coffee and enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Stunning place. Attended for my sister's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms are a great size, staff are lovely and the place is just great with great views.
