Had a great visit today. It was fast and efficient. I just love Dr. Petters. She has always been gentle and very informative about what is going on. This is a great attribute since I’m terrified of the dentist. Been with Dr Goins for over 20 years and have always been pleased. Forest Lake Dental has continued with the excellent care that I have always received. I would highly recommend this office to everyone.

Please avoid them at all costs!!!! I saw Dr. James at their Huntsville location on July 9th for a potential root canal. They had explained to me that I most likely needed a root canal and crown, but that if the cavity was not too close to the pulp i would not need the root canal. So after Dr. James had drilled away at my tooth, he declared it did not need a root canal and that he would just prep it for a crown. I am currently a patient of North Alabama Dental, part of Life Dental Group. I had my 6 month insurance covered cleaning scheduled earlier this week, but they ran X-rays and said I should have a deeper cleaning (not covered by insurance) to deal with some gingivitis. Due to the treatment plan cost, I requested to wait till my next 6 month appointment so we could save up for the extra expense.
