The Most Educated Estheticians & Massage Therapists!! – I was just reading the last review that was written and I was extremely shocked to read this outrageous review that the client had expressed. Horrible experience - will not come back – I went there 2 days ago after reading all the good reviews and press. The front desk person was cold and had an attitude. I was told to sit down and wait. Finally someone took me to the treatment room, which was tiny and with a neon light like a cheap beauty parlor. The esthetician arrived in the room, she was nice and sweet, but she left me ALONE in the room during most of the facial! Bliss - My half-day of Treatment – My Husband finally got my subtle hits and treated my daughter and me to a 1/2 day of beauty a year ago. We finally decided to redeem it before it expires. My daughter had her break from college so we took the train from Long Island so we decided to make a day out of it. NEVER GOING BACK – Went there two days ago to get pedicure. Pedicure was great but the whole experience was ruined by this extremely RUDE owner Lia!! She gave me more attitude than I have received for the past 20 years of my life. There were 2 more customers in the waiting area next to the front desk, dissatisfied with the service as well, but you really need to go there if you like to be put down. AWFUL PIT.

What A Wonderful Institution!! – I was looking for a school for skin care & makeup for a while. I searched the internet & I saw the Lia Schorr Institution. When I was going to my facialist in California I remember seeing her diploma on the wall and she was a graduate from the Lia Schorr Day Spa. I thought she was so educated & thats when I realized this was the institution I wanted to attend. I have been going to The Lia Schorr Day Spa for over 10 years. I go to this spa every month and at every visit Lia and her Staff are extremely professional, patient and love their customers. DISGUSTED WITH OWNER AND RECEPTIONIST AREA – The owner of this Spa (LIA SCHORR) is very RUDE, HER ATTIDUDE STINKS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL AS THE FRONT DESK STAFF. My experience there recently with the owner was terrible, she is not welcomeing, she talks to people like they are her soldiers. I think she is in the WRONG BUSINESS, she belongs in a military environment. THE FIRST PLACE I CAME TO ON MY RETURN TO NYC – I RELOCATED TO MANHATTAN MANY YEARS AGO AND THE FIRST PLACE I REVISITED WAS LIA SCHORR. I WAS EXCITED TO FIND OUT THEY WERE STILL IN THE SAME PLACE AS IT WAS LIKE COMING HOME. IT IS A TRIBUTE TO LIA THAT THE STAFF IS MOSTLY THE SAME. LOOK FORWARD TO MY MASSAGE AND FACIAL EVERY OTHER WEEK. SINCERELY.,MARVIN CALIGOR
