LIVING SOCIAL OFFER DIVINE – I purchased a voucher from living social for a 80 minute facial including deep pore cleansing, glycolic, and a seaweed mask for $75. I was worried that something so reasonable might not be incredible. It was the most reasonable price for such a well-known spa offering this incredible deal, when every other spa charges 3x more. I must say the facial was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. The facialist took her time with me, analyzed every single part of my face, and explained everything she was abou... read more

I am truly amazed at the number of positive reviews! How does anyone make it through the front door? I called Lia Schorr as a new client with questions about the Groupon for a glycolic facial. Ms. Schorr introduced herself over the phone and was purposely vague and unbelievably rude! I inquired what percentage glycolic acid is used in the facial, which she didn't answer. I inquired if extractions are done, to which she responded, "It says that, doesn't it?" And finally, before finishing my statement, she hung up on me! This ... read more

1st review EVER - that good! – I had a facial yesterday that I purchased from Groupon in January 2010 but, somehow never used. (The fact that the owner extended the validity of the Groupon past the expiration date, I thought was courteous.) I wasn't really expecting much - I've had many facials over the years and sure, they're great, but pretty much all the same. Wow! I had the BEST facial ever! My facialist, Eugenya, was amazing. She diagnosed my skin and the behaviors that created my current issues without skipping a beat.... read more

The Best Winter Facial I Ever Had – Every winter I take my children to ski in vermont. We own a house and we love it there. We go there quite often-my two beutiful daughters, my husband and I. I am in my fifties and I have dry skin but this winter it became extremely dry, flakey, and hurt, it worried me a lot. Lia Schorr Day Spa was mentioned in Time Out Magazine for reflexology just recently but the name rang a bell. I called for help for my dry skin and got an appointment right away. I had an oxygen facial and a seaweed ma... read more

Totally Predjudice! Unacceptable!! – I was extremely shocked when I read the last review about this spa. First of all lets start with the headline " Old Russian School Service" does this mean you don't think Russians are capable of giving good service? Plus there are very few russians that work there so obviously this person is very prejudice and does not know what they are talking about. Then the statement about the interior of the spa, how it is old school russian and not much of a spa feeling. This spa has a very nice, co... read more

Old school Russian service – It is a very old school Russian place, not much a spa feeling. Like a lot of reviews stated, the technician did a few minute extraction, slathered tiny portion of masks, then left the room for the most of the time. The 75 minute deep cleansing facial did run over the time mark, but most of the time I was in a tiny white cubicle room alone. I was so boring that I started to text and browse on my phone during the facial. The technician talked a lot, but did very little. She did push for some other ... read more

The Best Teenage Facial – I am 17 years old and involved in many sports such as jogging, hiking skiing and exercising. Because of this my face is full of acne (pimples) which makes me have to cover my face with heavy makeup because I am so embarrassed of my skin. I also have tried to pop the pimples myself for several years because I hate having them on my face it really takes a toll on my self-esteem. My parents always asked me "what happened to your face, are you picking at?" Until one day I was chosen to lead my class in ... read more

Horrible Facial Experience – I've never been to Lia Schorr but heard great things so I was glad to purchase what I thought to be a spa deal through Rue LaLa. The message with hot stones with Carla was wonderful but the European facial with 20 minute microdermasion was a complete waste. My esthetician Eugenia did the MINIMUM of extractions. I came home and see glaring whiteheads on my forehead that could not have been missed The microdermasion was more like 5 minutes but with the masks it came to 20 minutes. A complete waste ... read more

If not for- Brown Hair FrontDesk Girl/Blonde Facialist... – Despite the infamous Lia Schorr, which her reputation for quality is exceptional, socially I truly hope that she is thankful and realizes how fortunate she is to have an incredibly helpful, positive, sweet and "on top of things" receptionist - never would have guessed anyone would think the receptionist was cold however, given the scene and working side-by-side with ........ - its prob just a state of not being allowed to be overly friendly and/or ask any questions ... read more
