I had a Massage, and now I am in Nirvana... – I am still in awe and so, so happy that I FINALLY FOUND AN AMAZING MASSAGE, and a MASSEUSE THAT ACTUALLY KNOWS HER STUFF!! How To Be a Man in NYC... – Lia Schorr and her staff really know what they are doing and that is why my skin always looks GREAT. She really cares about her clients and I always feel at home in her salon. I don't know what the complainers here are looking for but I look for RESULTS and I've been getting them from Lia Schorr for many years. WORST Attitude, NOT Honorable – I purchased 2 vouchers through buywithme (spa promotion) for $45 each - 1 for a 60 minute hot stone massage and another for a 60 minute facial. I called to make my appointment and spoke with Lia first, mid conversation she rudely put me on hold as soon as I mentioned that I was using the promotional vouchers. Horrible Spa Experience – I bought 2 facial specials (one for myself and one for my husband’s first facial). For starters, Lia Schorr was VERY rude when making the appointment over the phone. Once I mentioned that I purchased a facila certificate and wanted to redeem it she barked “We don’t have any availability on Saturdays for weeks.” No biggie…I asked her when the first available Saturday appointments were and told her I would take those…not in a hurry. My First Facial, But Definately Not My Last – I pamper myself with a mani/ped twice a month, get massages a few times a year, but never had a facial. Carla knows hers job – I purchased a full body massage with scrub and was blown away at how good my masseuse was. Her name was Carla and she was very personable and adequate in her field of expertise. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

Best day spa in Manhattan – I just had a manicure/pedicure at Lia Schorr's. I can't say enough good things about it. I now have happy toes. I usually have Tammy but Lillian was on that day. She was as friendly and knowledgable as all the staff. She gave me a leg and foot massage while she worked. I now have happy feet. The massage chair felt wonderful but pales compared to their hot stone massages. I know I'm due for one. But I'll probably get a facial instead. Alla and Eugenia are both fabulous. THE ABSOLUTE BEST FACIALS BAR NONE – If you are looking for a great facial, you need look no further than Lia Schorr. Much to my surprise, in 1992 I experienced a really bad breakout.
