do not try to fix your credit with Lexington law firm they lied to you just for you to pay them and they just sent the same letters every month just suit charge you for that and if they answer the credit report or if they don't answer they will still charge you even though they're not fixing anything total ripoff

Business response:

Lexington strives to provide an excellent experience for its clients and is sorry to learn of this former client’s dissatisfaction. To ensure that the negative trade lines appearing on clients’ credit reports are fair, accurate, and substantiated, Lexington communicates with the credit bureaus and creditors on its clients’ behalf. These communications occur monthly, and clients are notified of changes to their credit reports. Lexington’s representation also includes other benefits and features, such as monthly credit report... read more

Ever Since 7/1/2019 I signed up with Lexington law as they told me they are able to fix my credit report and remove my bankruptcy as well. They have been taking my money every month with no fix to my credit history and I feel like I was scammed by them. On October 15 I called them to cancel my membership as I saw no point in continuing when on there website when I logged in there was 0 fixes to my credit history. They told me they will be taking a fee of 25 dollars for the work they say they did.

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of this client’s dissatisfaction with the firm’s services. Lexington represented this and every client to ensure that negative items on their credit report are accurate and substantiated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Lexington represents clients in sending communications on their behalf, as well as providing other credit related services such as identity theft protection and insurance, credit monitoring and analysis, and online credit and budgeting tools. As indicated in the engagement agree... read more

This is a scam because i just called them couple of days ago and they want to charge me more than $150.00 because, i told them to stop. They really haven’t done anything on my credit at this time so, why will they want to charge me?

Business response:

Lexington is sorry to hear of any miscommunication regarding billing. The engagement agreement signed at the outset of the representation contains a detailed explanation of applicable fees. The first fee includes credit reports, communications with the credit bureaus and creditors, identity theft protection and insurance, access to online credit tools, and more. This fee depends on the level of service the client selects. It is charged on the fifth day of the representation, which can be extended to the fifteenth day. Lexin... read more

Pushy. When trying to clear up my credit, of course I want help. But when I also say I need a day to think about it, as it is a big decision on who to go with, I need the time and respect from the company to do so. The representative was just money hungry for my $14.99. I am already in a tight spot, I do not need to spend an unnecessary $14.99 when I am just not ready to make the commitment. Based on other reviews, I am not the only one to feel this way. I will not be going with this company now because of their pushy nature... read more

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm regrets to hear of any bad experiences individuals may have had with Lexington and inquiring about credit repair representation. They are dishonest and took my money without my knowledge. I called several time to cancel and they did not cancel my account until I caught them red handed. They never told me the where taking directly out of my checking account. I am a senior citizen and the abused me

Business response:

Lexington Law Firm is sorry to hear that Ms. M******** was dissatisfied with the representation. Lexington records its phone calls for quality assurance and has reviewed all three of her calls. The firm’s records contradict her version of events. In April 2019, she engaged the firm’s representation and was informed about Lexington’s billing practices. At that time, she provided her preferred payment method to a Lexington representative. She also gave the firm permission to use that account for her subsequent payments. She el... read more

I am reading through the other reviews and my suspicions were confirmed that this company doesn't deliver. I signed up for Lexington to see maybe if I could get some collections removed, however I know the info on my report is, for the most part, accurate and up-to-date. Therefore, I proceeded to ATTEMPT to cancel services with them, however when I tried to find a number, I was on hold for 22 minutes! But the weirdest thing about this "business" is that everytime i refreshed the page, there was a new contact number for them.... read more

In order to keep communication open with our clients, Lexington has paralegals and attorneys available every business day from 7 AM – 7 PM MDT. Uses templets to answer questions, provides limited legal assistance, little to no change on credit report, limited suggestions to actions needed before paying off a bill. Unhappy with the services rendered.

Business response:

Lexington is disappointed to hear that this former client was dissatisfied with the representation. The law firm represents consumers for the limited purpose of challenging the negative trade lines that appear on their credit reports. Lexington does so by communicating with the credit bureaus and sending correspondence to their creditors. The firm also provides its clients with identity theft protection and insurance, a monthly FICO score, credit monitoring and analysis, and other online credit and budgeting tools, among oth... read more

They are pathetic and they lied about the amount we were supposed to pay! I pray that their entire business crumbles or burn to the ground. There is nothing worst than people preying on those who are trying to get their lives back on track.

I'd give it negative stars actually.thankfully i wasn't dumb enough to sign up for their services. But once they get your #, they will bombard you with phone calls and text messages. I have asked them countless times to stop contacting me /remove me from their list and the calls/messages actually increased to borderline harrassment. I would think hard about contacting them.

Business response:

Lexington regrets to hear of Ms. ******’s experience. Individuals who express interest in Lexington’s representation may be contacted by phone or SMS. Lexington honors all requests to cease communications and places these phone numbers on the firm’s do-not-call list. An attorney from Lexington has reached out to Ms. ****** to ensure she will not receive future calls or messages.
