I am using the facility to swim. The people using the pool appear to be very vigilant about common sense covid suggestions. The pool seems to have good ventilation and there are not many people using it. However, I cannot say the same about the rest of the place. There appears to be little concern about the use of masks or social distancing among the employees or the clients. I am especially concerned with the attitude of the employees. RecommendedLAC swim lessons for children are probably the best in town.
I unfortunately had to cancel my membership and was told it was a simple process as I am from out of state. I had to move home (3 hours away) during COVID. I attempted for weeks to reach someone which was understandable since they weren’t entirely open at the time and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one calling. Would not recommend. The two-year contract that I signed back in 2018 was up in March. I have not been to this gym in over a year and a half. I just had another random $50 charge from LAC and the woman on the phone refused to help me. They won’t refund the charge, she said that after my contract was over they automatically start charging me for month to month and I have to physically come in and sign a cancellation contract.
