No question Leupold Optics are good. There's just one issue, they are too expensive! There are a myriad of other scope manufacturers out there who also make good to excellent scope products & unfortunately Leupold are charging what they think the market will bear rather than what it costs to make a good scope with a reasonable markup for profit. Just want to give a huge thumbs up to the customer service at Leupold. I had a pair of the 10x42 cascades that my dad bought me about 13 years ago and one of my eye relief's had broke during last elk season so I finally sent them in here about a month and a half ago and they sent me a replacement which was the new version of the cascades and once I got them I quickly found out they weren't for me and was just gonna have them fix mine and send them back and the guy I was dealing with insisted that I either send them back with... read more

The incredible service I have read so much about is true! My rangefinder from about 2 years ago starting to lose it's clarity so I sent it back in to Leupold per their request. About a week later a brand new rangefinder showed up in my mailbox. I love it when great American companies stand behind their products and provide amazing service. Oh...and the product itself is awesome.
Sent my GX-3i rangefinder in because red readout was fading. Within a week they sent me a brand new GX-3i2. No proof of purchase required! Now THAT'S a warranty! Buy Leupold!
Best on the planet ...period. The warranty alone is proof the build the best.
