Only because I had to leave a star. Worst experience I have ever had at any automotive company. I came in today to have the front end of my van inspected, due to large vibration while driving. After inspection, I received a detailed list of parts and labor quote for repairs to my vehicle. I took my car to this Company, first to the Canyon Road store. I was dealing with an issue of vibration and a few other symptoms and was trying to figure it out. I left my car there and was told an inspection was done and my car was driven. The outcome was that I did NOT need brakes but that my rotors needed to be replaced and also it was suggested that in bleed my brakes. I was given an estimated print out. I took my car to get tires replace using the warranty I had Andrew agreed to honor the warranty although he didn't wanted to, he suggested I allow them to do an alignment check in case my car need it to have one ( according to him it was one of the reason both tires in different times blew on the freeway) I left my car there. I brought my car here in mid march because of problems with the right rear brake sticking evidenced by scraping and squealing at times and smelling hot when I stopped. I brought the car in and waited four hours to have the brake checked. When I described the issue to the young woman who was assisting me, she responded sarcastically as if from what I told her there could be nothing really wrong with my brake. Beware of hub bolt over-tightening on wheels. The boys use power tools to tighten and then they are supposed to torque. To save time they tighten and the torque wrench is just for show! Had a flat and could not get bolts off.Â
There are many company practices,in regards to honesty, that are often preached but not practiced. An example of this is the TPMS rebuild service. Many locations charge to have the service done but do not have the products in stock to perform the service to the TPMS sensors. I have sent friends and family members into various locations in various states including California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah and Montana in each location the family member was charged for the service and more often than not the service was not completed. I purchased a vehicle and took it in for an alignment. After 3 hours, I got my vehicle with nothing done to it because they claimed I had to have over a thousand dollars worth of work done. I got a second opinion only to find that Les Schwab was taking advantage (again) of me trying to charge me for work that did not need to be done. I was treated as though I was stupid for refusing their vast amount of unneeded repairs. Sitting at Les Schwab I came in as there was a patch they have done a week or so ago and from the same patch the tire started leaking air. I brought it back and as I pulled up I mentioned to the front desk clerk are they able to get air put in the tire befor moving it and while I'm sitting here I watch the technician run out jump in my car and moce it on w flat tire. Dropped the car and requested new pads and rotors. Next day i get a call with the quote including calipers, i ask if they are bad and they tell me it doesn't matter they don't even check. If i was told before hand i never would have left the car there and they knew it.Â
