Hey Ryan(the manager), "Let me educate you" as you told me multiple times today. Not only did my car get misdiagnosed 3 separate times for brakes and rotors, I also got quoted lots of fun numbers. It started out as my back brakes at $358, then throw my rotors in and make that $476..but wait there's more! I called to get a price quote on how much it would cost to have tires swapped out on the one set of rims that I have. The man I spoke to asked me several questions, including "did you purchase your tires through Les Schwab?" I had not purchased my tires through them, and was very clear about that. In October of 2013, I went to Les Schwab for brakes. They (said they) installed the front and back set 3 days apart. On April 9th I took my car in to my mechanic due to a squealing every time I backed up. They said that the back breaks were down to 2 mm. Even more odd was the fact that the front brakes were in great condition. I called the Les Schwab I bought them at and told the lady on the phone about my situation. I have been doing business with the Les Schwab store in McMinnville, OR 97128 for 17 years. It's the largest and most accomplished store (as I understand) the organization has. I've purchased literally dozens of sets of tires and have had all sorts of suspension maintenance and repair there ever since. Over that time I've noted that the quality of product has declined.
