I took my vehicle to Les Schwab Tire on March, 21 2019, because the check tire light came on. They found a screw in the driver rear tire in the corner which was outside of the repairable zone. They handed me a quote to replace all 4 tires for $437. They told me they could not replace the tire with the screw in it only. They insisted that I needed to replace all 4 tires because it was an all wheel drive vehicle. I called the Toyota dealer and spoke to my service writer. I explained what had happened. Visited the Junction City store Saturday, Feb 16 2019 stating that my tires need to be balanced. Was told one of my tires was too far out of balance and the rim would have to be replaced, because of my vehicles TCS/ECS and TPMS all wheels must be identical. I said thank you and went to my dealership. Two tires were out of balance, both were corrected, zero rims needed to be replaced. Big Fail Les Schwab! One star only as to post this review. Zero stars for LS.
Stopped for the convenience, stayed for the 34% markups, vehicle damage, misleading information, lost parts, poorly balanced wheels, and shoddy installations. How 2 visits turn into 7..? I stopped in for a winter tire swap about a month ago. To their credit, tires were swapped, and they suggested I consider new wheels in the future. The day this report was written, Mr. ******** visited the Lacey tire center and worked with Store Manager, George. Les Schwab believes Mr. ********’s concerns are satisfactorily resolved.
2-4 hour wait for a simple tire purchase and mounting. After hearing this I cancelled my tire order and went to another tire dealer who got the job done in less than 40 minutes. This store deserves a manager who knows how to plan and organize a work staff that can get customers the type of service they ask for. Awful customer service.
Horrible service. Took my car in for new front tires. Never had any issues. I leave with a pressure sensor not working. They said it was a coincidence battery died. Same day an extra 100. Never called to pick up car. I showed up and had a flat back tire. Nothing to do with new front tires. Had the nerve.To say I hit a screw on the way over. Checked found nothing. Accountability is not there. Almost feels like a scam. Never go there!!!
Regarding store 205 @ 7304 SE 82nd. 97266 I bought 4 new tires in 2016 with the 65000 miles Best Tire Value Promise that the tread would last for those 65000 miles. I had taken my car into another repair shop since it was making a kind of knocking sound on front right side when driving and was told 3 of my tires were bad and that the tread has been worn off in one spot on all 3 of them. Has unqualified technicians. Brought car in to have my Les Schwab tires rotated and balanced. When done the vibration was worse than when i brought it in !! Took it back and asked them to fix the problem they had created. 2nd time never fixed it. I asked them to take for a test drive at 60 mph on freeway and they never did. Now its worse than when i brought it in and have to go to another Les Schwab. Spent hours dealing with these people and time from work. Do not use this Les Schwab (Folsom) for any repairs or tires!!!!!!
I have done business with Les Schwag for many years. I haven't always received the best customer service, the prices are high, and if they feel your vehicle is unsafe to drive they will keep it and won't let you have it back until you pay them to fix it or have it towed to your residence. however, regarding the prices they are selling a quality product that cost more to produce, they must pay higher wages for quality people, there are insurance costs, building maintenance, utilities, parts and other business costs. they will... read more
First I am not really sure where I should put this but it is an ongoing issue with all of the lesschwab tire centers across NW Washington, in every instance of my going to a lesschwab it has never ended with anything less than complete incompetence.
