Today, Leith Lincoln is proud to be part of the 30+ Leith Automotive Group of dealerships, which is still a family-run business. Service Department is terrible. From their Reps. to their Techs. at Leith Mercedes Raleigh.DO NOT BUY A PREPAID MAINTENANCE PLAN. They will tell you ,if you bought a used car from them that its already was done when they got the car, regardless of how many miles. Also will at last minute say that your car needs to stay for 2 days for the routine plan or we have no record for your appointment. Even when you show them the confirmation E-Mail. The reason is, they already got your Money for doing Nothing,, way in advance. They w... read more

Leith sold me a bad car! I had it less than a week and all of the light came on in the dashboard! later the car starts jumping and the check engine light comes on! They refuse to even look at it!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM LEITH CHRYSLER JEEP!!!

Bought a 2016 **** **** **** from Leith Volkswagen of Cary, it’s now 16 days later I wake up get my day started and get in my car to head out and my car WILL NOT crank. I call them and they refuse to touch my car or diagnose it because their “Volkswagen” technicians cannot work on fiats. This would be the 3 issue I’ve had since buying the car 16 days ago on August 4th 2022. Took my car in for a recall was called 10mins after dropping off for a appointment that the part was not in. After a talk was told they would get it done that day. I did not receive a call for the rest of the day. Called the dealershipthe next day and was told it would be done today. Took my car in for regular service on 2/22/22. I told them that the right passenger tire break will not release when I try to move the car. This has happened on three occasions. When the parking brake releases, it makes a loud bang sound. 1) I was told by the service department that this was normal. The car was not doing this when I purchased it. 2) I was told that I don't drive the car often enough. This should not have any bearing on the tire. My husband and I drove two and a half hours to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Been in contact with **** for 4 or 5 days prior, he was aware that we were coming. Arrived, looked over the vehicle, it was not very clean inside and out but we ended up taking it for a test drive, decided to make the purchase. I would give zero stars if I could. We went there and looked at the **************. We had already chosen one online and wanted to put a deposit on that car. He showed us what he had and we put $3,000 down on one that was in transit. Approximately 7 days later, the Salesman called and said he saw it on the trailer and we should be able to pick it up in a couple of days. It was an honest mistake on our part. Our Sales Manager put the business name on an in transit unit. Unfortunately there were 2 similar vehicles with similar msrp and vins only 1 digit apart. Our Sales Manager put the name on the wrong unit. We feel terrible about it and want to apologize and of course we'll get their money back to them asap. For the record we are diligently trying to find a suitable replacement.
